Design a catchy package
Have a package designed
We are happy to help you solve your packaging questions and / or the implementation of your ideas. Together with you we develop a 'catchy' and impressive packaging design according to your wishes. The message that the packaging has to convey always differs per product. The shape of the packaging and the graphic design are essential to achieve a successful packaging design. That is why we go through three important phases in the design process of a packaging or packaging line:
1. Analysis of the problem
The starting point of every design assignment is essential, and therefore also for packaging design. If the starting points are not clear, the result is often disappointing. The target group and competition are properly mapped out during the analysis phase. If the product has to be placed on the shelves of retailers or in a display, they will be examined. If the product packaging has to be sent, completely different requirements are involved, such as the robustness of the packaging material and the dimensions, such as with a letterbox package. Today, many customers are looking for a combination of the two; a universal solution for packaging for retail and webshop packaging, so that all channels can be served.
2. Concept development of packaging
In the concept phase, experiments are carried out on the basis of the analysis from the previous phase with different shapes, styles, fonts and colors for the packaging or packaging line. The packaging design literally takes shape here. Of course the branding of your brand or company is taken into account. If your house style is not yet established, we will develop it in collaboration with you and we will translate that into the packaging. Several packaging concepts are created (diverge) during the concept phase. In consultation with you, we make a choice from these concepts (converge) in order to continue developing. The chosen concept is refined with the aspects agreed upon from the feedback. There are several correction rounds to arrive at the right packaging concept for the detailing.
3. Detailing of packaging design
During the detailing phase, the packaging design is worked out down to the smallest detail into a fully-fledged packaging. This results in a functional packaging design in which the knowledge of marketing, logistics and production are processed. The graphic design of the packaging comes into its own in combination with the shape of the packaging.
In cooperation with packaging producers, a prototype is made to see what the packaging will actually look like. After evaluation of the prototype, there is then the possibility of making adjustments to the packaging design in a correction round in order to arrive at an ideal final design that is ready for production. Packaging of the best quality for the most favorable price.

Offline packaging designs versus online packaging designs
The function of packaging is changing at a rapid pace. This is mainly because today more and more consumers are making purchases online. With the shift from offline to online purchases, it is no longer necessary for many products to state all brand and product information on the packaging. In addition, the packaging of a product that is purchased online no longer needs to convince the consumer to make a purchase. That does not mean that the brand image is of great importance when unpacking a product. This is called the "unpacking experience".
Everyone knows, for example, the disadvantages associated with unpacking a blister pack. It is therefore very important to ask what the product is used for, is the product in the package sent from a web shop (online sale) or is the product packaging placed on the store shelves (offline sale). Other important aspects to take into account are competition on the shelf (especially offline), distribution (both offline and online) and the regulations that come with packaging design (both offline and online). We will take this and much more with us during the packaging design process in order to achieve the best end result.
